CONSTRAINED CARICATURES is a sabbatical project I published in 2016.

It consists of 11 sets of 3 related caricatures of classic Hollywood stars or characters.

Each set was constrained into a square, a circle, and a triangle.

Above you see the set “3(6) THIRTIES COMEDIANS”, W.C. Fields, Laurel & Hardy, and the 3 Stooges.

All were created in Adobe Illustrator with basic shapes and flat colors.
